    Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Volunteer with us Oct. 5th at the WaterWorks Center for Environmental Education. We will be doing light weeding, brush clearing, and invasive species removal. Come ready to get your hands (well, gloves) dirty! Afterwards, we will all go on a nice, relaxing canoe ride down Flint Creek. What better way to end a volunteer day?! Gloves and water will be provided. Download our Flyer to share

Teachers can earn up to 16 CEUs at WaterWorks FREE workshops this summer, and receive a $50 stipend. Workshops will be based on Richard Louv Child Psychology Principles and will include a canoe trip and other hands on learning activities for children. Teachers will also receive materials they can take and use in their OWN classrooms.

Join us this summer for the Land Trust of North Alabama’s signature environmental education series - Tuesdays on the Trail. We will head outdoors on Tuesdays in June and July to discover the unique biodiversity protected by the Land Trust preserves. ***RESERVATION IS REQUIRED.*** Canoeing Flint Creek with EcoAdventures on July 10 at 10 AM WaterWorks Center for Environmental Education in Hartselle Spend the morning on Flint Creek with Jay Grantland of Alabama Ecoadventures at WaterWorks Center for Environmental Education
