Join us for one or both of our engaging, hands-on teacher workshops designed to bring environmental science to life in your classroom! These free sessions include expert-led instruction, outdoor activities, and lunch.
🌿 June 4: Cultivate with Huntsville Botanical Garden
Discover innovative ways to integrate plant science and ecology into your curriculum with a special session led by Huntsville Botanical Garden educators. Cultivate is a PD-certified teacher development program that provides Alabama’s K-6 educators with the foundation and lesson plans they need to grow excited, confident, and engaged students in STEM. Plus, participate in a guided canoe trip down the Flint Creek.

AND engage in a hands-on rain barrel workshop! Learn the basics of setting up a small-scale rainwater harvesting system for your home or outdoor classroom. Take your completed 55 gallon rain barrel back to your school!
End the session with a guided hike along the banks of the Flint Creek!
